Hi Mike, I do not get a noise from the matrix but the air coming through the top vents is not very powerful. I have just bought a pollen filter, from ebay £12.50 delivered so i will try it. Like you Mike, i'm sick of the wet sleeve every morning.

Hi, I think it is the interior temp. It is the reading to the left of the clock.

Just an update on my heater situation. I have a citroen 1.9TD 1998. When i purchased it i found the heater to blow slightly warm. Now it blows cold all the time. I have been advised to change the pollon filter which i intend to do this weekend (once i find where it is). The temp reading still reads -:-, which it has done since i purchased it. Before i do it i just wanted to check that the filter is the cause. As the mornings are getting frosty i need to get the heating sorted. Any info would be greatly appreciated Thank you

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone could point out what the problem might be with my heater. I have a Xantia 1.9TD 1998. The heater is not very powerful, it smells and it doesn't get very hot. If i switch the heater to auto, it does nothing. The temp reading at the side of the clock gives no reading except -:- not sure if that has anything to do with it. Would like to fix it if someone knows how. If i switch it to max, i hear it blowing and ever so lightly blows out of the window vents. When it is on, it smells quite strong. I seem to remember my other xantia 1.8i smelling the same...common thing? Also, this being a diesel, it is quite noisy and i do know diesels are noisy as a rule, but it is my first diesel. Are they quite noisy? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi, Does anyone know which key fob i will need to program to my 1998 xantia TD LX. I have just purchased a used 2 button infra red and no matter what i do it wont work. I have been told, as i dont have the IR receiver mounted on the roof, i need to purchase a radio frequency remote key fob. I have looked on ebay and there are currently 4 different types. Any ideas. A picture of the key would be great if anyone can do it. Thank you

Hi to all, I have just purchased a 98 Xantia 1.9 TD LX. The car drives great apart from the clutch. To me it feels stiff and when you have been using it for a while, it seems to stick a little. The last time i had a clutch behave like this,the cable snapped. Does anyone know if they are meant to be quite stiff or is the cable about ready to snap? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
