    Petrol Gauge

How much is your where you are? My tank costs around £33 to fill fully :)
  2. Cost about £90 for the unpainted, unfitted spoiler from a Citroen in Crawley (nr. Gatwick) - then in total about £240 after painting and fitting - which although the Citroen website says they will do, they didn't. I had to get it independantly fitted and sprayed by someone they reccommended.
  3. I'm hoping to keep this one for a fair while though, being a student and all  Saving up now for the front fogs with spoiler kit, 'bout £500 - I've seen a pretty nice exhaust kit, and side-skirt kit on the market, but I don't want to loose my warranty this early on! The alloys and spoiler definately add to the car - mine's got both, on the car photos page. Also heard about a new headlight kit, replaces the glass casing for something a little more special looking - definately worth a gander sometime, but I think it's European so would need shipping.

That's my problem - I get that kind of consumption when I try... trouble is, that engine sounds far too good to let it run slowely!
  5. Ah, that's not too bad - I've found that if I go in with my mum, she can usually get a fair bit of discount (she's always in there with her picasso).
  6. Here's a pic of my pride 'n joy C1, Rythem 5dr Petrol - though it's in it's early stages of decoration at the moment. I'm still hoping to get a front spoiler/fog kit, and maybe some after-market exhaust, rear skirt and side skirt add-ons... There's also a nice headlight kit I might be tempted into, and I'll probably get some Xenons at the same time. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1372/820699718_773405c5fd.jpg?v=0
  7. Hey everyone, recently registered - done a few posts, but nothing much. Just wondered how many miles people are doing in their C1's? I got mine beginning of June, and already have done just over 10,000 miles (on a similar note, anyone know how much a service should cost?) - even though I'm only 18. I guess it's just because I love driving so much, I go out for random fun drives whenever possible! I saw a Black C1 when I was over in East Sussex which had a rear spoiler, so just had to get me one as I loved the look. Sure enough, it looks pretty neat on my grey one - trouble is, now I want the front spoiler/fog kit - and that's a little more pricey. Never thought I'd be into car modding, but I've found out that replacing the front speakers is fairly easy - only problem being that my existing 4"ers from my last car are too deep for the weenie hole the olds came out of; other forums suggest cutting away bits of dashboard, but I'm kinda disinclined to do that. Anyone got any replacement suggestions? Also, anybody got the rear speaker kit - or tried doing one of their own? I'm thinking about saving up, doing a DIY rear kit (supposedly easy) and adding a mini-sub in the back too. Not sure whether to do that first or the bodywork... Anyway, that's all a bit of a long post  Wondering if anyone goes to any owners meets, and if there's any in Devon? Arf, I think that's about enough now! :)
  8. You know that little green plastic bit just inside the fuel hole? Isn't that supposed to be designed so that the thinner petrol pump nozzle fits into it, whereas the larger diesel doesn't? Can't remember, but I guess it may be the other way round.
  9. Gotta love the sporty engine sound - sets it aside from other basic cars I reckon. That creak you mention coming from the driver seat - I have it too. I find that if I play with how the seatbelt connector sits, the creak goes away. Trouble is, it keeps coming back whenever I readjust my seatbelt - wondering if a bit of WD40'll do the trick...

    Petrol Gauge

I'm not sure exactly, but I think it's more than you'd realise - my usual fill-up is about 34 litres (35 litre tank remember), but the other week I let it go for a little longer, and put in 36.8 litres... I'm guessing either there's a small hole in the tank at the top, or it can go fairly far!

    Rear Wiper

I know what you mean - I get on without worrying too much, my last car had no rear wiper! I think the go-faster spoiler helps, it kinda directs the rain into a stream through the centre rather than patchey all over - but it does affect the speed very slightly. Looks cool though!
