Problem solved. If it helps anyone else i took new stalk off replaced with old stalk, still didnt work. Put new one back on but wiggled wires that clipped onto the stalk. Solved it . :)

hi everyone. i noticed my left side passenger dipped beam wasnt working so checked fuses and changed bulb. Tested lights and now the right drivers side dipped dosnt work. The bulb from the drivers works in passenger side . Passenger bulb dosnt work in drivers side neither. Both sidelights and full beam work ok. Recently had indicator/lights stalk changed due to indicators flashing rapidly (tempremental) (was from a scrapyard) Could it be the stalk, relays, loose wire ?? Please help mot due in 4 weeks. hi got it sorted got the latch and unit replaced (its all one thing) works fine now.

please help, my drivers door lock or latch is not opening after the door has been unlocked by remote so i cant open the door. When i use remote to open it, it opens then re-locks all doors. I have to unlock and quickly open any other door to get in. I can open the drivers door with the key, but after doing that when i close the door it just bounces back open as if the latch is closed but have to slam door from outside to close it (which then triggers to lock all doors) Is it electrical or the door latch mechanism itself..can i fix it myself or need to go to a garage ? Also checked wiring at door hinge no loose or broken wires.xsara LX 1.6i 2000. Thanks.
