  1. In reply to your problem with non starts, I am a Toyota technician but own a C1, I recently had a similar problem with my car where it would occasionally turn over ok but not fire. As I was about to go to Italy in it I took it to our local Citroen dealer to have it checked out prior to going there I carried out a check to see if any fault codes were in the system and found an immobliser code present. After checking in our Toyota manual Ifound that the cause may be due to a poor connection to the immobliser. I told the dealer when the car went in for them to check it but they said there was no problem found and that there were no codes in the system. As I didnt erase the codes prior to them looking at the car I was a little concerened that their diagnostic checking tool didnt find a code. Fortunately I could check the system at work even though the diagnostic tool recognises the car as a Toyota Aygo, the system is the same as the management system is Toyota. The fault was a poor connection at the immobliser ecu (plug not cliped securely) I would suggest that you ask your dealer to check for codes and /or poor connections around the ecu.
  2. Costs for the servicing will depend on the Dealer and the area you live in as labour charge out rates vary across the country, on the servicing the plugs are not changed until 40000 miles (check in the service book schedule) You can get your car serviced anywhere so long as the garage are 1, professional , 2, vat registered and 3, use manufacturers recomended parts.
