Brollies, walking sticks and other dog walking paraphernalia such as gloves and woooly hats.

I found that my ABS worked a few weeks ago when some plank pulled out of a side road in front of me. I hit the brakes and horn simultaneously and he stopped allowing me to steer around his bonnet with the aid of the ABS. Hi Terry LTNS. Hope you are well.
-
Hi, If you mean the makers plate with the VIN it's under the bonnet on the front right wing.
-
Welcome home Terry. That's a massive amount of party stuff. When is it? :o

Pleased with my 1.6 Berlingo Desire 3 weeks now only 300 miles so far.
-
Enjoy your Hols Terry.

I remembered him telling me that if the wipers were on then the rear wiper would come on automatically when reverse gear was engaged.

Bought two "Moduboxes" from Lidl today and in my opinion they are far superior to the standard fitted box and @ £4.99 each, a bargain. I spoke to a guy who had also bought a couple who told me he'd seen the same thing "back 'ome" being sold off cheap @ 2 for £20. http://www.lidl.co.uk/C1256C790050C7BC/images/GB.05_4266/$file/05_4266_b.jpg

I misheard apparently. I went to the dealer's and the salesman categorically denied having said that the lights and wipers would come on automatically when the weather warranted it. So he must be right, he's a salesman after all. <_<

2 keys with mine one key has remote features lock/unlock and the second key is manual. Also got a credit card style card with key info.

Got it sorted, thanks. It was the fog lights that got me stumped for a short while. I will go back to the dealer though as I'm sure he said that the wipers would be automatic and that the lights could be made to come on when the weather got murky. So far I can't get it to do that. The book says to switch ignition to "accessory" and press the light stalk in until a gong is heard to enable or disable the function.

Collected new car today with just 22 miles on the clock. I'm absolutely delighted with it. So much nicer than my ex Vauxhall Agila. More comfortable, better equipped and with 400 cc's extra it's obviously more powerful. Decent clarion radio/CD sounds reasonably good. All I have to do is work out the lights which seem a little complicated. <_<

Had to trim away the right hand corner of the mat to get it to fit around the vertical fixing post. Also had to remove a small section of the lip to accomodate the inside vertical fixing.

Hi Homer. I'm new here too. Saw my new Berlingo at the dealers today. Going to pick it up on Sunday morning.

I've been to the showroom today as my car is now in. Still needs PDI but we've had the "hand over" to see how all the bits work etc. I've looked at the Modubox and it's screwed/bolted to the boot deck. I would think that it could be unscrewed then refitted once the new mat is in place.
-
Hi Terry, given that the mat is "made to measure" I may have to cut it if the modubox has a mounting shoe on the boot floor. I'll have to wait and see. I see that Lidl has a similar trolley for a fiver.
-
The boot mat arrived today. It was completely rolled up but when I unrolled it it became flat almost immediately and did not retain any curl. It will save the inside of the boot area but I think I will still have to put some carpet on it for the dogs as it's quite shiny. It has a chequer plate pattern and overall I'm pleased with it. You're welcome hope you get it sorted.

Well it's all to do with finance really and we want to be closer to my wife's family. My parents and younger bro are dead and daughter is married so it's time to up sticks. Hoping to sell my bungalow for £212500 and buy something considerably cheaper in Wilts. Bob.

Hi Nick, I'm new here too. I'm taking delivery of a new Berlingo next week. Hope you don't think I'm being picky but did you mean Jerkyness. I typed Jerky into the search engine and it threw up about 4/5 threads to look through. Good luck Bob.

I ordered the Multispace version of the mat from the guy on Ebay last night. The firm seems to be well set up with plenty of info in their auto e-mail. I expect delivery of the mat within ten days about the same time as I take delivery of the Bling/Lingo/Bertie. I have two border collies who just love the country pursuits of rolling in muddy puddles, diving into streams to stir up the crud in the bottom and rolling in anything they deem to be interesting. I'm hoping the boot mat will help to keep the car a lot cleaner and fresher than the one I have now. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for passing on the link to this forum Terry and I see another of the X9ers has joined. Maybe we can help to resurrect this forum.

I decided against the aircon. Again as my mileage will be low I couldn't justify the cost. Most trips will be domestic with the odd 500 mile round trip a couple of times a year. Also I have air conditioning on my maxi scooter, I just open the helmet visor or put on my open face helmet.

Yeah that's what the add says. I'm gonna buy one and let you know what it's like. Maybe post a piccy.

The test drive was in the 2.0l HDi but I decided on the 1.6 petrol version as my mileage would never cover the investment in a diesel. My present car is 5 years old and only done 23K and when I move to Wiltshire that annual is likely to drop by between 1K and 1.5K.
