  1. Hello people. Can anyone help with this problem. My car had a crack in the pipe before the turbo unit and was replaced by Citroen main dealer. That was fine. No more leaks I also mentioned that the car had air in the fuel lines all through the system and the car was dieing of fuel starvation. I pulled back the black braided jackets on the fuel lines, and I have noticed that a week after the fix was performed on the cracked pipe that the air in the fuel line is back, but not through the whole fuel sysytem. The feed from the tank to the hand primer is clear and free of air. After the fuel line passes in front of the engine and heads down past the oil filler cap, air is present in the fuel line and looks like a fish tank oxygenator. It isnt causing the car to stall, run bad, or anyting but I do not think this is right, is it? It seems to get more prevalent when the engine warms up. I spoke with the engineer at the main dealer and he has said that this is right as its the highest point of the engine and air will be there. I think he is wrong and fancy taing it straight back! Anyone want to have a peek at there 2.2HDI engine and prove to me who is in the right here? It would be a big help as there isn't many people with a 2.2 diesal C5 to ask. Many Thanks in Advance Luke Bury Lancashire
  2. There used to be four trim levels on the C5. Sx,VTR,VTR+, and exclusive. Now on 08 onwards there is VTR, VTR+ and exclusive. Two types of suspension - Hydro 3+ and standard springs. Ususally 2.2 hdi and exclusive come with Hydro 3+ and 6 speed box.
  3. Just purchased my first citroen C5 2.2 hdi saloon. Purchased in warrington, cheshire from barclays franshised citroen dealer. Good response when i spotted a small scratch on bonnet and bumper. Repaired free of charge and very helpful. Kept me well informed. Any one know of a good garage for citroens in manchester?
