There's no need to cut wires! You can buy a wiring adapter, it looks something like this: http://i2.ebayimg.com/02/i/04/b0/89/7d_1_b.JPG That photo came from eScamBay where they are charging too much as usual, it's cheap from a Citroen dealer, cost me £3.50 All the adapter does is terminate the multiplex wire to nothing so it doesn't ever reach your aftermarket unit, and links the permanent live to the switched live. The Blingo radio doesn't have wiring for a switched live, unless you do want to cut wires and take a feed from somewhere else. I think the cigarette lighter is switched? I think most problems are caused because people have not been using the adapter, therefore 12v is blasted down the multiplex wire screwing up the electronics, then it's probably already too late!
