Where oh where can one find a cheap 5 litre tub of good quality LHM??? Need 5.8L according to Mr Haynes.

On the subject, sort of, can you swap a manual mirror for an electric one? Would the loom be already in place? Would you just need a switch? My T reg 90hdi lx has manual drivers mirror which I'd change for an electric job if It didn't mean too much wiring.

Hi, Anybody had any experiance with the seat air bags? The light on dash has been on for a few days now and I'm unsure as to wether it means one seat, two seats - LH - RH ?? :rolleyes:

HI Mate, mine is an hdi engined manual gearbox, it has an electronic speedo. Having recently changed clutch I can tell you first hand mine is electric gizmo driven by a gear that bolts to diff housing. Hope this helps, Rich

Hi, The head unit is a Sony affair (about two years old) which plays mp3's I've burnt to a disk. I think your solution saves money on disks! I also think there is an interface available to facilitate use of steering wheel control, which is more money than it's worth considering my arm is long enough to reach stereo!! Still not got round to horn problem, although know it works when you apply 12v across it, directly. Tested this while GEARBOX was OFF!!! Replacing shattered release bearing which had allowed release fork to swing into pressure plate springs - Thereby banging a bit before locking engine!! What fun that was £105 for clutch kit + £100 bung for fantastic brothers help and spacious heated garage + weekend swearing at car. It's great now though, :rolleyes: Apart from the leaking pipes we found . . . oh well . . . MOT not till March . . .

Thanks, Colin, found it! Today put new timing belt, oil + oil filter, air filter, pollen/cabin filter! Took 2 hours to find horn . . . which looks like i'm gonna have to take bumper off to see if it's getting any juice. . .

Hello everyone, just got my second xantia, after a disastrous Land Rover Discovery sucked all the money out of my wallet! Loads of good information on this forum, thanks to people posting here I've solved one little niggle on my T reg HDi WITH AIR CON!!! (a first for me, poshest car I've ever had!) Got loads of questions but am gonna dig a little deeper on the postings before I ask what may be a silly question eg; Can't find heated rear window switch - Where is it? After half an hour looking gave up and drove to work. Half way there caught wiper stalk funny and hey presto! Rear screen starts to de frost. . . As you may have gathered I didn't get a hand book with my eBay special :huh: Rich
