New to the forum so hello there. The reason I'm on here is my friend has a 2001 Berlingo and because he recently quit smoking he is stressed out, slammed the back door and broke the mechanism on the drivers side. Now, to try explain the best I can. If you are on the inside the inside door handle works fine, no problem there. The problem is you cannot open it from the outside, when you look through the little hole you can see the cable and at the end, the screw that its on has destroyed that little plastic clip that the screw stays connected to. Make sense so far??? The only thing with damage is that plastic clip which needs replacing. Can I just buy the plastic clip or do I have to buy the whole mechanism. I am also after part numbers if anyone can help. Thanks
