  1. doesnt a decent wax/polish get rid of that too? i would of thought that the claybar would be ok on slightly older cars(2 years on wards or cars) that havet been polished for ages or never?
  2. welcome guynorth, hope you enjoy your car when it comes! i was the same Wozza, like a kid at christmas waiting for santa lol
  3. ive used the stuff for years and use it on all windows and my crash helmet visor, one youve done all of the winfows youll find its only the front and rear the need redoing after a while. ive also found that bugs come off easyer on a rain-x coated windscreen and its easyer to de ice in winter. and no stuey i dont get commission :P
  4. welcome moggy

the finish on that 106 is amazing, im in the process of trying the wash mits, but dam weather at weekends lol can you post some pics soon?
  6. told you that sturf was good ;)
  7. try a product called Rain-x which you should be able to buy from a1 motor stores, halfords etc. this stuf beads up the water an it runs off when its windy or your moving anything over 30mph approx oh and welcome
  8. Why buy the C4 then? mines not lifeless or lacking feed back, when i drove the 1.6 hdi that also wasnt lifeless or lacked feed back. Granted it was a bit softer and a bit more body roll. perhaps it maybe because its fairly quiet inside compaired to your cinquecento or Golf.

    Hi

yes some one with an Amiga, ive still got my A1200
  12. got any photos mate showing the drop?
  13. not too keen wozza, imo makes the car look lardy, and would need lowering as the wheel arches look funny( the wheels look like theyve been put in an arch way) or maybe its a secret 4wd off road model? lol

    Hi

    and getting the new parts
  15. i've had mine now for four months, i do have the odd rattle now and then, but i'm putting it down to road surfaces and the cold of winter, as when its been warm inside they seam to go, the fuel consumption isnt too bad either, as i get (according to the computer) 27.7 mpg around town and some times it gets a bit of welly now and then so it aint too bad. no worse on same town driving as my 1.6 16valve xsara. the only faults so far was the xenon bulb that went, so that wasnt fault of the car and the other is the side heated screen which has been looked at but not sure if its ok as the weather is ok now. ill have to boil a kettle up to steam inside to check it we i get time. i would of liked the 138 bhp diesel but to recoup the difference in fuel saving against the cost of the car wasnt worth it imo, so i'm happy with my choice. we'll have to ask again in a years time lol
  16. the sooner the better lol
  17. they are good lights, but stupid price, i think you have to go to the dealer if they fail as the use special tools to remove and replace. but are supposed to last lots longer the normal bulbs

    Hi

welcome to the forum, yeah ive installed an alpine head unit, with ipod adapter, if i remember i only had to change the pos and neg around?
  19. i had a problem with one of my xenon bulbs, it came on then went pink, told dealer and at first told me that bulbs wernt covered, but as i pointed out i had only had car a month you had better sort it, they ordered me 2 new bulbs and replaced them. good job as i was told originally that they were £180 inc vat fitted each! :D
  20. is servicing more expensive?
  21. TOO RITE :)
  22. 18 bhp difference and 18 f/lb torque difference, 119mph to 112mph 11.2 sec to 60, 12.5 sec to 60 thats the main difference between 110 bhp and 92 bhp performance wise for roughtly £1000
  23. i would imagine that the 92bhp will be no better fuel consumption, as the engine would be working harder for the same car, as engine size is unchanged. :) (better power to weight ratio)
  24. did you test drive it?
  25. welcome to the forum if you look through past posts then you should be able to find the info. some of the other members may tell you as theyve had their c4's a bit longer tham me. is yours 90 bhp or 110bhp? i recently drove a 90bhp sx with only 700 odd miles on the clock and thought that had quite a bit of low down grunt!
