ive removed the mud flaps and it stil rubed. then i grinded bits of the inner arches off that i though was possible to rub nad i it diditn wrk so now i have removed the inner arches completly 17x205x40

i dont knw if i knew that i wud stop it. there isnt any evidence of rubbing anywhere. but it is! i was post this 2 c if anyone else has the problem.

I jus got some 17" alloys for my citroen xsara. its a 2000 model buts its stil a mk1. i have fit the wheels and now there is a serious rubbing noise is the back wheels when there is passengers in the back or even if i go over a speed bump. it sounds like they are rubbing in the arches but i looked around a fiddled about. i grinded part of the arches out to try and solve it but i had no luck. i even thought it was rubbin on the inside so i got 5mm wheel spacers and stil no joy. the only difference of the wheels i have now and the old ones is that they r 10mm wider. can anyone please help me with this???
