  1. I have a 2009 C5 2.7 Exclusive and have front and rear sensors both with the graphics displayed when parking.
  2. It could work in Citroens favour to have Chinese investment. They are quite fanatical about top end Citroens and have released the DS 5LS and it looks like a superb version of the DS5. Not sure however if it will ever get as far as the European market.
  3. I have found the cure to this problem quite by accident today. While 'playing' with the seat functions I full inflated the lumbar support cushions This must have released the massage arms and the problem is now cured. It seems that if the massage arms can't move the system won't overload the motors and switches off the massage automatically.
  4. You've two options either a scrap yard or a Citroen dealer. These trim parts are quite cheap from dealers.
  5. I've got a 2009 Exclusive with exactly the same problem. Good job I class it as a gimmick so it really doesn't matter.
  6. 09 C5 2.7 V6 exclusive with Sat Nav and 19" alloys in black
  7. Hi Adam, Your wheels look fantastic and your car should run and handle great. I have the 2.7 V6 exclusive, also in black. It came with 19" alloys as an option. I'll post a few pictures when I get the chance. I am told the ride might be a little better on 17" rims but as I have only ever had the 19s it doesn't really matter to me.
  8. I'm not sure if the battery can be replaced. The last sensor I had replaced I ask them to leave the old one in the boot hoping to repair it as the end of the valve had snapped off. The way it was removed made it impossible to do anything with. I could not see a battery compartment so it could be sealed when the units are made.
  9. Thanks ice fruit. I had the C6 for three years and only spent £700 and that was in the last month!! I have always found Citroens to be very reliable and cheap to run
  10. Gone back to the site. Selected Other professionals and under the company name used 'Citroen Owners Club' and it does give you an account number :-)
  11. Hi Paul.h, today I tried to register and there is no option for car club members only motor trade professionals or emergency services. Private Customers are refused registration and are now informed the site is exclusively for professionals
  12. Please note that a private user can no longer register with service.citroen.com. They are however putting a domain together for us private owners.
  13. This happened to my wifes C3 two months ago and it turned out to be the gear selector £750. It could not select neutral so it wouldn't turn over and the gauges read empty / cold. A known problem with this type of auto.
  14. Forgot the xantias on HDi the other V6 Dave
  15. Hello all, recently changed my 06 C6 for a 09 C5 2.7 Hdi V6 Exclusive. The main reason for the change was I was really tired of paying way over the odds for the road tax. I now have a slightly smaller car, same engine, same comfort and almost 50% of the tax :) I've had a couple of teething problems withe the C5; Took off the valve cap and removed the top of the valve at the same time!! There goes £122 to replace and two other sensors were leaking air. As I did not want to replace these and there was no way I was going to try and tighten them I used half a can of Holts Emergency Tyre Puncture foam in each wheel. Leaks fixed and sensors are still working OK. I have been driving Citroens for over 30 years, the first was a GSA Club, BX estate, BX 4x4 (worst car ever), Famille Estate, CX, 3 XMs, C6 and now the C5. If I can give advice to anyone I will.
