well the car came back from its travels to the body shop early Feb but the weather has been so crap I havent been able to wash it. Finally did it Friday afternoon so here it is. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v199/LooseMoose/carresize2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v199/LooseMoose/carresize1.jpg Needless to say I am happy now. I think it is getting more looks with the new wheels too.
could have the eurofighter typhoon, I think rolls royce make them too... That is a lovely picture too, looks like low level bombing training in the dales somewhere. One of your pics rich or nicked from the t'internet??
where do you find the dipstick on a Skoda?? Behind the steering wheel :P All the best in your new job mate, I hope you will stay on this forum though. The Skoda ones are always broke...do you see what I did there?!? not bad for half 8 in the morning...
in London?? I would be shouting GEEEEZER!! at everyone and swiftly giving a sound kicking... Rich's Rolls would that be you Ham?? Black VTS coming out of Rolls Royce...to much of a coincidence if you ask me...
thats another thing...we have to pay for the box...lets be realistic for a mo, are the police really going to arrest nearly 2 million people if we refuse to have the box fitted??
I was always under the impression that Auto Express knew nothing about cars...that proves my theory...7 year warrantee is good but how long before they start getting picky over what constitues what is covered??
it isnt the engine temp display you are looking at is it?? it is on the right of the display...this never goes above 3 bars, if it does you should worry...
the wing is made out of coke bottle grade plastic so is pretty resistant to knocks like that. If you need a new wing they are £188 and about £100 to spray for a well done job. I speak from experiance
there is a 3.0 V6 in the PSA line-up it is in the top spec 407's. It should fit in the C4 as the engine bay is massive. Maybe it was always designed to accomadate a larger engine at some point in its life.
its all better now cheers mate. Got nudged on country road by a plonker trying to overtake me, I went up a bank and through some trees. It came back a couple of weeks ago but I was advised not to wash it for a week or so whilst the paint hardens and sets and the weather hasnt been good enough to give it a full Stuey and Ham valet yet.
