Thanks for your reply John and I will look tomorrow, if it stops raining!! Must say though, I really can't recall see anything like this. What I did see was a rubber casing around the Exhaust pipe. This appears to have once being attached to a similar shaped moulding attached to vehicle chasis; hence my belief that this had deteriorated and come apart. Fingers crossed I can see some Rod's as you say. If it helps, its a 53 plate 1.4 petrol

Looking for urgent help: Noticed that the exhaust seemed low at the rear of my daughters c3. On inspection, under the rear of the car, I noticed that the rubber mounting bracket seems to have perished away from the body. I can't really see any fixings, such as bolts, which has stumped me! I am looking for as much info, diagrams would be great, on how to fix the problem asap? To confirm, it is the rubber bracket that mounts the exhaust just before the back box. The exhaust system looks mint btw. Thanks
