  1. Unfortunately there are 9 wires and they aren't the standard colours.
  2. We've got a 2002 c5 with citroen installed twin 7 pin sockets on the tow bar. The main socket for the lights has self destructed and needs replaced but I have no idea about which colour goes where. I think I can get another socket from another car of the right type ie 7 pin with blue extra electronic box on the side. Problem is I don't know which cable goes where. Anyone know?
  3. Does any one know where I can get the right socket from to replace the knackeredone on our c5.? It's just the black socket for the lights that I need. The rest of the wiringlooks OK. The old one has a relay like thing on it and there are 9 wires to connect. Thanks
  4. Im getting sick of replacing droplinks and wishbone arms as thebushes go in a very short time and was wondering if any one knows of a decent brand of parts that last a reasonable time? I gave in and called the local citroen dealer who quoted £350 each for original wishbone arms. So thats not an option. Cheers J
  5. Ive just got a xantia 2.0 tdi w reg (2000) and while other wise mostly clean the suspension isnt right. When I put it up (i had to change a tire) it wont go down at the front and it stays hard unless I fiddle with the up down setting (full down usually does it eventually). after that it seems to be ok although the front looks high and the back low. When I bought it it had had 4 new spheres but the two underneath seem much older. Any ideas? Will it be costly? Cheers Jamie
  6. Hi Ive just bought a xantia (60000 miles, 2000 2.0 hdi) and am very happy with it but there are a few queries I could do with some help on. 1. the temp gauge on the dash (ie oil temp) seems to go up and down as the engine revs alter. Obvoiusly the engine doesnt change temp that rapidly so it must be an electrical fault - any ideas? 2. When you put the suspension to its highest setting and then drop it down to normal the front stays up until you play with the switch more. is this normal or should I panic? 3. It has a very annoying alarm system with only one key with the remote control on it ( the spare is just the key no electronics). The card thing mentioned in the manual for the immobiliser code is no where to be found. Can I get the whole thing reset, a new immobiliser code and a copy of the key with remote on it made? Alternativley can the immobiliser and alarm be disabled without messing up the central locking? Cheers all Jamie
