New year & first fault! The climate on the drivers side is throwing out constant hot air no matter what temp I set. The passenger side is fine. I'm sure I have seen this mentioned before. Any ideas what it might be before I take it in next week? I assume it is smoe sort of sensor problem.

Silver VTR+ 2.00 06 plate same as mine 6 doors away from where I live & a dark blue VTR+ 2.0 (55 plate) several streets away (see it when I'm dog walking). I should add the nearest car dealer to our house is a Citroen one.

Had the pleasure of someone blading my tyre - best price £135.00 for a new one - just one thank f>>>. Any one managed to get a beter price? last time I park in that car park though I was in Sunderland & I'm a geordie oh hum.....

I too had a Megone and in 8 months was back to dealer 6 times. Had my VTR+ 2.0 since April & apart from rusty struts on hatch had no problems. Now 5,500 miles & loosening up nicely.

Had a problem with my MP3 so took the head unit out - detached cable, fixed no probs but...... there is an unattached cable with a green fitment on the end, looks like it belongs to the head unit but does it? The unit works fine, all speakers work etc. Anyone know what it might be for? Is it something wonderful that I am missing (an ejector seat for when the missus nags too much lol).

My mirror is exactly the same - droops in the heat - a bit like me then lol!

Dealer Said No Way Of Getting Ipod Through Stereo!
barnyg replied to Ciaran2903's topic in C4 - Technical
I bought the part at at Pug dealer & the Citroen dealer said he had never done it before but would give it a go & enabled the port free of charge. Installed the cable myself. Goes to prove some dealers are excellent & some are .... -
When I had my Megane i was a member of the Megane owners club. You could get stickers for the window showing the web site at a nominal charge.

Parked at the Docs yesterday next to a C4 Coupe (mine's a 5 door). When i came back noticed the licence numbers were only 2 different!!!!

Can any of you wise people recommend a decent alloy cleaner. I've used Wonder Wheels in the past but have been told this is too agressive. Also what's the best to protect them.

See my other reply - car in today for work - no charge for configering AUX2 & all other work done. Car returned fully valeted - much better service than I ever had at Renault (Rubbish). Perhaps I am just lucky!!!
-
A big fat zero - excellent result - only took them 5 mins apparently.

Took the car in this morning to have a seat belt & the 2 rear hatchback struts replaced. I also asked them to activate AUX2. I printed off the info from KFK about AUX2 for them. Got the car back @ 11:00 with all the work done including AUX2. The car was fully valeted. This was much better service than I ever had from Renault (Rubbish)! On the whole one v.happy punter. p.s. Thnks for the help kfk.

Anyone know if the standard head unit can control a Blaupunkt CD changer?
-
Anyone know if this - "Blaupunkt iPod Interface - 7607540500" would work in AUX2? I am (still) waiting for a reply from Blaupunkt . It appears to be for cd changer enabled head units. By enabling AUX2 does this mean that a CD changer would work and, by default, this thing? If it does it would solve all my problems of getting my ipod working.

Thanks for that, hopefully it will be enough. As you say the service manager isn't the one to ask, he is probably just trying to help his techies - as it should be!

My car is booked in next week for the rusty strut problem & replacing of a seat belt. I asked if they could activate the second aux port. They would like all the info I can give them! Anyone have any extra info other than they plug in the computer and it takes about 10 mins? I don't know what I can add.

No arty farty noises on mine.

I contacted www.nexxia.co.uk and got this reply:- Oops, forgot to add C4 to the site. Connectors are the same as for the C5, though, you can use PC2-86-4 & PC5-136, or the kit which is in stock CT20CT03. http://www.nexxia.co.uk/Car_Stereo_fitting.../Citroen/c5.htm Nothing available for steering controls at the moment I’m afraid. Regards Simon

In the words of Victor Meldrew - I do not beleive it! Sh*t on again outside my daughters house. Just had the car washed yesterday. Ho hum here I go again. Now 4 time in 4 weeks - any one want a C4?
-
I'm thinking of fitting a new head unit. Can anyone tell me if the steering wheel volume controls will still work on any unit or do they work only with specific units? If so anyone got any suggestions.

I've had many cars in my history but this is the worst for c**p. I've had the car less than 4 weeks and already been done 3 times. I can only remember it happening once in the last 3 years. The seagulls nust feel threatened by C4s!
