Just seeing if anyone else has had this problem. Set off on Sunday drove round the corner from home. Pulled out of a junction and changed up into 2nd gear. Then all of a sudden car just stops engine light appears and engine fault message appears. Got the breakdown company out and he thought it was the timing belt so towed away to nearest citroen dealer Cars been checked today by citroen and it was the timing belt coming off that has caused the issue. New engine has been ordered. All work is to be carried out under warranty. Just seeing if this has happened to anyone else. I believe the car Car has 9k on clock. When buying the car I had to wait a while due to the new engine so I believe it's one of the first cars to have the 1.2 3 cylinder engine.
