Hi I've had my citroen c5 for over 4 years now but unfortunately I had a little prang in the front wing and the insurance has wrote it off as a cat d I've priced up the repairs at around 150 it's mot don't run out till November it's a great car but I'm going to invest in something a bit newer if anyone would be interested please let me know it's a 52 plate diesel with 110000 on the clock alloys roof bars I'll try to upload photos tha ks jamie

I cheaked all the connections still no joy so I replaced it easily enough with a second hand and £25 its a ball ache with the tension pully mind need 3 hands thanks for all the advice

Took it to halfords for there batterie check its only pumping 10 when running

Just a quick question do I need any special tools to change the alternator on a c5 52 plate or any temporary fixes as my batterie light keeps appearing thank in advance

Sorry was ment to put 2002 don't know why it came up 09 :s I've taken a picture of what I believe is mine but looks as though there's 3 fuel lines and no pump it won't let me upload the photo.

I know there's probably a topic on here already bit I'm using my phone and can't find anything in the first 5 pages. I'm new to this diesel lark and unsure on exactly what to do to change the fuel filter I've had a quick look and it looks fairly straight forward but then I've been told things about priming pumps and bleeding. I've changed then before on petrols but it sounds like a completely different kettle of fish can any one give me any good easy to follow advise I have a 2002 2.0 hdi thanks in advance

Is the hydrolic suspension a c5 52 plate supposed to be a bit clunky as there seems to be knocking when going over speed bumps or divets in the road

Hi I've just brought a c5 52 plate diesel 2.0 lx and just wondering if there's anything common problem wise I should be looking out for as I have no luck with cars thanks
