  1. Thanks for the reply. The indicators do flash when unlocking, so not sure it's that... Equally, if you press the unlock button anything after 5 seconds after locking, the lights flash to 'help you locate' the vehicle in a car park. It's just when locking using the fob that there's no flash. I have checked the configuration options but no joy there either unfortunately.
  2. I have just taken delivery of a new: 2014 Citroen DS3 DIESEL HATCHBACK 1.6 e-HDi 115 Airdream DSport 3dr and noticed than when locking the vehicle using the remote key fob, the indicator lights do not flash to confirm that the vehicle has been locked. If i am stood near the vehicle, I can hear that it is locking, but there is no visual confirmation of this by way of the indicator lights flashing. I have taken the vehicle to Citroen (and also raised this query with the dealer who supplied it) and both have confirmed that this is entirely normal, despite the vehicle handbook clearly stating that the lights will flash when the vehicle is locked. Both the technician and the dealer have also advised that the lights will flash, although this will be 1 minute after locking and this signals the activation of the alarm. I was unaware that this happened until the technician demostrated it to me. The dealer has explained that this is standard across the Citroen range and therefore there is no fault to be fixed. Has anyone else had experience of this? I cannot think of a logical reason why Citroen would deliberatly remove the visual 'indication' of the cetral locking functioning; I am fairly sure that this does happen on earlier models of the DS3 so why would it not happen on the new one?
