Many thanks for that. Ive seen the very helpful repair procedure for the rear window solenoid but haven't got round to doing it yet. What you said makes good sense though as all my problems started when the rear window popped open. I work silly hours so wont be able to investigate til Saturday morning but will have a look and let you know..cheers

Hi all. Ive just joined as me and my car is in a bit of a pickle. I was driving it on sunday and I got a warning that the tailgate estate window had popped open. Its never opened in the year ive had it as I haven't got round to sorting out the open button yet. Got out and closed it then all ok. Now when I press the key fob to open the car the lights flash but car stays locked. I use the key to get in and it drives ok but I cant open the back doors and the rear windows dont work? I got locked in the car yesterday whilst playing with the buttons and had to phone my wife to come out to the car who used the key to let me out. Ive followed the bsi reset procedure on here but still no joy. The car now seems to lock using the blip key but wont open when I press the blip again just lights flash? Every now and then the blip button does unlock all the doors but only rarely. My kids cant get in the back and im worried its a safety issue if I cant get out again. Any ideas where I start please?
