Thanks for the reply, it's a c3 petrol auto 04 plate, I've looked properly today and the exhaust looks like it's still secure and it's as if it's had some sort of metal cover over the back box that's come away if that makes sense and the rating noise is the metal hitting the exhaust

Hi driving home tonight and heard a rattling from the back end of my c3. when I looked underneath the only way I can describe it is that it looks like my back exhaust box has some sort of outer casing that's peeled off with rust underneath. It's not making any other noise except for the rattling when I go over a bump Can anyone help please
