Had this problem too. As a temporary fix, which has worked for the last year, I used the heat activated shrink tube which is used as electrical insulation. I found the stuff which has adhesive was better because although the tubing takes to the "ripples" of the pipe it can still slip off. Also ensure that the general path of the pipe is retained so that the pipe at each end of the "fix" does not flex too much
