Hi guys, really hoping someone can help. About two months back I went out for dinner and after a couple of hours I returned to my car (C4 2.0l VTS Petrol) to find it wouldn't start! No warning signs, nothing on the drive to the restaurant and suddenly, 2 hours later, dead! I was fortunate enough to have a really good recovery guy who ran multiple checks and found there was no fuel getting to the engine. A faulty fuel pump seeming to be the issue. Well a few weeks back the fuel pump was changed and still nothing! No start! There is now however fuel getting to the engine. The car will turn over but just not fire! The battery is now low and the car keeps going into economy mode. Deciding it was a spark issue now (service is overdue) I ordered a new coil pack and plugs which I've since fitted today and still nothing! I had jump leads running from my other car (1998 Astra 1.6 8V) so it had power yet still it wouldn't start! It did on a couple of occasions sound like it wanted to go but didn't! Has anyone got any ideas as it's really bugging me now. There is a high pitched buzzing noise coming from what appears to be around the alternator! No ideas what it is or why it's buzzing. Any suggestions are much welcomed Cheers Matt
