The wee rubber ring on the bottle cap is broke i and the water is leaking out when it starts to bubble up, when its bubbling with the bottle cap on and i unscrew the bleeding screew at the engine water comes out and then a load of air and this will stop and start so maybe it could be the lid at this point.mm

Forgot to say we havent been using fluid, we have just been putting water in the bottle, thanks

Thanks for the reply well we changed the engine and the dealer at the local scrap yard has advised me the engine is a 100%, its from a 2006 peugot 206, the engine sounds good but were still having thr same problem of the boiling at the bottle, its been blead a cple of times, but i did hear water moving from behind the passanger dash , i was wondering could any pipes be blocked, had 3 mechanics look at ot and still no cure,

Ps we also put on a new thermostat and have checked the water pump and all good

Sorry just seen your reply, the head wasnt skimmed, just a new gasget, and it still bubbled from the bottle, from then i have put a new engine in and im getting the same problem, it bubbling up and heating at the gage, the waters clear and all seem ok there, we have blead pipes and still cant figure this out ahhhhhh

Hi, wondering could anybody help me, i have a c3 1.4 petrol 2003, it needed a head gasget as it was trowing oil into the water bottle and heating up, when the cap was taking of it would trow the gunk out the top of the botte, well i changed the gasget and let the car run for a bit thinking all was fine and when it was running a while it has started trowing water from the bottle now, there was a wee small bit of gunk in it but that was just the left over from before as we cleared the ststem as good as we could, if anybody could helf i would be greatfull as im about to go mad ;-) oh yes i have the thermostat took out as it was seized aswell plus i unscrewed the bleading hole and done no good
