Would you get this problem with the diesel also, because waiting in traffic i noticed a similar thing for the first time yesterday, especially when idle (once in gear the car sounded fine). Got home, had a look to see if anything was obviosly wrong, then stopped and restarted the engine, the ticking noise then disapered. Wasn't there on the way to work this morning either.

You've got to put it on upside down (with lock at the bottom). Otherwise it just does'nt fit over the bose. I use mine (i do live in a very dodgy area) but its mainly as a visual deterant to stop people even having a go at the car.

I can back up Ham as my VTs also has them, kinda pointless though.

Mines going in on saturday for this problem, so hopefully i'll be able to tell you by then.

People People, I need help, i think my car is cursed :blink: I've now owned it for about 1 month and this is the 5th time a great heap of seagul has dropped its bowels all over my beloved car. Need help, or a gun. Right rant over, just had to vent some frustration, happened today on the way to work, now the car has to sit there all day covered in poo.

I've got a little 30GB PDA that i was going to mount in the ashtray (fits near perfectly) as a kind of half way step towards an in car computer and was just wondering how hard it would be to link this to the excitsting car stereo. I already own an Mp3 stereo from my old car, but i would like to keep the excisting changer in the arm (I'm a bit gadget geeky and like to keep every possible way of doing everything still open). Also th dash just looks sleeker with the factory fit model. So set up would be something like this: PMA420 ---aux2---> Stereo <---?--- Cd Changer Just i dont know what ? is. Is it aux1 or dedicated changer port. P.S check out the PMA420 if your looking to get some kind of computer in your car. 30Gb hard disk, plays vids as well as songs and also has a tvout so you can connect it to a second monitor. oh yeah wireless network aswell. Not really a carputer but its much cheaper (amazon ~£220) and i'm sure theres someway of mounting flush with the dash.

Hi everyone. Does anyone know if the cd changer in the armrest connects to the stereo through a dedicated port or through the aux input. Having done a bit of poking around on 'tinternet i can get the aux inputs enabled on the stereo and using a pergueot adaptor (9706AG audio harness) means i can connect my mp3 player to the stereo, but obviously cant do this if the aux input is already in use. Thanks.

The 2.0 litre turbo diesel is in group 10 (i think) still the insurance is ~£900 quid a year, thats for a 22 year old with no NCB.

The insurance is not that bad really, i'm paying £25 a month more now for the VTS deisel (fullly comp) than i was for a '97 punto sx (3rd party f&t), and trust me no one in there right mind would want to steal that punto i got it cheap of my granda and on more than one occasion he left the hand break off, came out the next day and found the car embedded into the corner of his house. Still though got me to work and back each day (no where near as fun as the C4 though).

I bought a second hand VTS HDi and it came with the spoiler, so does this mean mine is an aftermarket addition or the guy near your nans has just added some VTS lettering. P.S also like to say thanks for being so freindly :P

This may seem like a stupid question to those in the know, but does anyone know what the little iso connector under the front ashtray is for? Thanks in advance WLT

Hi everybody. I've recently purchased a c4 VTS however when i started it up this morning the dash beeps and flashes up "automatic headlamo adjustment fault" and "sterable headlamp fault" then the service lamp comes on for a little while. Has anyone had similar problems or is this a trip to the dealer for me. Any help would be appreciated. Marc
