Hi Paul! Thanks for getting back to me! It's a petrol car and the oil was topped up last week, all good! Exhaust isn't smoking - no other issues! Not sure what the temperature indicator is! Like I said, not very car savvy I'm afraid - In fact I'm useless! Just worried it's going to be an arm and a leg kind of job. Moved my mats, as read that could catch but still happening an I'm afraid to drive it! Goes up to 3! Sometimes when stationary too!

Hello all! I'm a newbie to this forum and need some advice if possible :) I've recently aquired a citreon c3 07 plate, it's only done 38,000 and isnt used every day, more like every other. However, today i've drove to work and when i started the car, it revved to '2' without pressing the accelerator, clutch or brake. Then whilst driving, i noticed it would over rev to 2 when braking and putting the clutch in. Someone has suggested it might be sticky throttle and just need some WD40! Then someone else has advised it could be a new clutch. It's not losing power, and drives ok - I'm not very car savvy so im seeking some assistance, dont want to take it to a garage without some ideas what it may be. Any advice would be much appreciated :) Thanks guys
