  1. Is it really a 1.8 HPI , I thought the hpi only came in 2 litre.

  3. Hello again, I have a 03 HPI which when hooked up to a peugeot diagnostic machine came up with code 1113. They said it was a faulty IAT probe which I bought and fitted. The car still goes into limp mode after misfiring and resets when I restart the engine. I'm in Ireland and the HPI was never sold here so there's no working knoledge of it. Researching the web I see that 1113 can mean IAT, or for diesel engines fuel rail/ pump problems. As this is the hpi model ,could the direct injection be closer to a diesel design than the petrol engine ie high pressure pump or injectors as opposed to Intake air temp. Thanks for your time.Mark.

This code seems to relate to failure. I have witnessed this fault, with the HP pump dropping pressure off, intermittently, and the regulator trying to increase pressure, as expected.
