  1. 12500 miles with my 1.6 Hdi EGS VTR+. Average over that period of 48mpg, mainly short journeys. Still no rattles etc and does everything as it should. Only been back to dealers for it's first service. Comfortable, economical and excellent performance for a 1.6 diesel. Very good gearbox once you've learnt how to use it and wouldn't go back to a manual now. Another rather boring review.. Well pleased. :D
  2. I have a Black C4 1.6Hdi VTR+EGS Coupe. Covered 3k+ miles so far and very pleased with it. Not keen on the Full auto up changes so use Manual paddles now. Haven't been back to dealers yet for any problems, (fingers crossed), so very satisfied so far... :o

    Car Tax

    Didn't the letter work then??
  4. I don't know as I haven't got one but could there be one on the Citroen Sat Nav? I know my TomTom flashes red speed warnings when over the speed limit on a particular road.

    Doors

Where exactly on the doors are the places for the lights? Thanks.
  6. With respect C4VTS, how could he possibly remember the shape of every small piece of bent metal on the car? Bearing in mind there are quite a lot of different models of Citroen.. It would also be difficult to find looking in the manual and trying to recognize it unless you knew what area it came from.
  7. It appears the fuel has an ethanol content which may damage O2 sensors. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/6405051.stm
  8. It's a "Satisfaction" survey. So they are all satisified with their rattles then? Don't think so..
  9. Top Gear Survey 2005 Most notable trend? The top of the table is filled with Japanese manufacturers and the bottom is predominantly French. 15. Leave them parked vertically when on a car park..
  16. Look better than those C6 wheels IMO. Lowered it a bit. http://www.ausi70.dsl.pipex.com/c418.jpg
  17. Looks impressive but I hope you told him he'll have to keep the engine running for any film longer than 10mins..
  18. According to the Nav techies the GPS speed is far more accurate than your speedo. Only downside it doesn't react quickly to changes in speed and direction so a longish straight with constant speed will give an accurate reading.. :D
  19. If I was going too spend a fair bit of money on new wheels I think I would want something quite different. Not sure they're different enough... Just MO.. :D
  20. The gps aerial is a small 1" square box about 1/4" deep stuck inside the windscreen, (nothing on the outside). It's on the hatched part as that's the "clear" bit of the athermic screen. Used some double sided sticky tape. I poked the cable, with the back of a comb, underneath the screen surround moldings following C4Owners instructions. Right hand side dash molding just pulled off and put the cable behind and replaced. I did need an extension for the power lead to reach the Cig lighter socket.
  21. Shows how little interest they have when they can't even show a rhd version. I try to be objective and when I bother to use sport mode and plant my right foot down it's as near an instant change as I could manage with normal clutch etc. But, what do I know? :)
  22. Covered 350miles in first week mainly shortish journeys. So far no problems does everything it's supposed to. No rattles or squeaks anywhere. Drives very well and 42-44mpg round town. Love the gearbox, smooth changes or fast as you wish. Only minor criticism is the 2" gap on right of sunvisor that the sun always manages to shine through. Needed a seperate aerial for GPS which is stuck onto hatched part of windscreen and works well. So far, very impressed... Sorry for the boring review.
  23. You will. Picked mine up last week. :)
  24. Is it something different to "normal" wheel balancing? If so, what question do we ask to make sure they have the correct equipment? Thanks....
  25. And I always thought it was the Doppler compensators being out of phase with the warp matrix flux capacitors. Should have known. :D
