  1. Thanks Paul, when this problem first started in Nov.last. I saw a youtube video of spraying the MAP sensor with electrical cleaner. i did this and thought i solved it as next 200 miles ran ok.i now have a new one fitted.but my permanent limp mode persists. Am i able to have an MOT in its condition? my new throttle body arrived today.but no better!Another £137 spent! So itried erasing those same codes but still bad. i then tested the 6 wire terminal into the throttle for a broken wire but all good. next will be the pedal 5 wires soldering !!!! how lucky we were when replacing a bike cable for it years ago! we thought we were hard done by !! i only have access to a cheap OBD reader giving codes only. is this sufficient for a mk 1 c3? From Peter K (petermorrisminor) THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A BX UNLESS THEY BX RATED
  2. Dear Members ,i have a c3 petrol1.4 8valve 2006. it is permanently in limp mode with SERV and engine management fault also ,in the central window.it only does 10 mph up hills! I have changed the MAP sensor with a new one ,gas pedal with EBAY used one twice, throttle body used one and cleaned around butterfly. all to no effect . can anyone please tell me what my next move is ? its like driving a 1910 slow car!! also rad. fan is blowing all the time. i have faults p1153,p0121,p1161 if i then erase them still there! Thanks Peter
