Well...This is my first Diesel..1.6HDI VTR+110BHP 1 Year old..Did'nt buy new. I get 50+ around town and over 60 ish MPG on Motorway/Long haul..My C4 cost me 10K..The engine is quiet and responsive...The feel good factor i get from just the MPG is very nice indeed thank you very much.. ;) .... Cant justify buying a Diesel........ :P ... Are you a Mentalist........ :P I'm not going back to Petrol..No way ...

Am i right in thinking that i can add an Ipod to my CD Changer plug on the back of my Stereo in my VTR+...?? If this is the case then there seems to be lots of options and prices out there... :P ... BTW...Does anyone know the make of the Stereo's fitted in the C4 or do they differ with each version...They did with my old Picasso..? .....

My dash does not rattle after heater box fix. Then i'd say your a lucky Boy... :D I dont think my Rattle is the Dash itself..But certainly something inside the Dash is a rattling away..I'll probably locate and fix it myself when i'm not so busy...

Well number 1 on your list will stay with me for a very long time to come.... :D I had Warm air blowing constantly throughout July.. :blink: God it was Hot. The dealer kept putting back the job until my wife said enough is enough.."This is getting Dangerous". especially coming back from a long day out to West Mids Safari park...We were actually falling asleep while driving because of the Heat... :huh: Now this is when we got to the truth..!!! Citroen UK were only giving independant Dealers...4 to 5 hours to repair the fault...The actual job takes nearer to 10..Hence the reluctance to take the job on at a loss to the dealer... :( ... The fault by the way is caused by a young Plonker in France or wherever they're built tightening a plastic bolt too much and breaking open the Box...I'm told the bolt has now been replaced with a Metal one...??? ... Still a great car even though i am now getting the odd vibration and rattle coming from the Dash..which was'nt there before... :( I was told by a friend before they took the job on..."Be prepared for a Rattling Dash when thats done"....... ;) Voila....Rattling Dash... :D ...

Funny you should mention a Knocking noise..I had 1 last week. It lasted about 5 minutes..Then i realised i had ran the Missus over... :D I keep tellin her "i'll do the Motor repairs you do the Cooking" .. The Knocking has now stopped... :P

So i did make the right decision then... :D .... Honda Civic...I thought Mr May from Top Gear summed it up well. "A Dreary four pot from Swindon"..... :P :D I too dont think much of the very Plastic Front and rear end of the Civic.....Plastic Trophy cabinets.... :) ...

Well how do ya think the Mechanics get their Chips at Dinner time.. :) .... When i first had my Picasso 3 years ago it was booked in for a service..Well when i picked it up later that day it stunk of Chips.. :D I said to the Service manager why does my car smell of Chips..? He replied...ahhhh 1 of the lads used it to get the Chip order down the road... :o His honesty made me laugh rather than be annoyed..I did'nt mind...! but i'm sure 1 of em had a Pickled egg cus it stunk for ages...... :blink: .....
