    Hi My Wife's car started having a problem today where it revved to 3000 rpm then cut out until the revs dropped to 2000 rpm and then cut in again back up to 3000 rpm, the fault code when the engine management light came on is P1336. I have checked this fault code and it points to Crank Sensor. Driving it home I managed to drive smoothly as long as the engine was kept below 3000 rpm and the symtoms also point to crank sensor. Any other ideas would be gratefully received. Cheers
