Hello Everyone.

I got a 1.6 HDI estate (2005) as a taxi, I've just started renting a radio and I need to feed a cable from the battery to the inside, does anyone have any experience of this and know a way in?

Any suggestions would be great. :)

Thanks

Just pick the live up from your meter wire or if you want a seperate feed to it then just follow the meter wire to where it picks its live up from

Thanks for that, the meter wire goes thru the seat belt light up warning thing. How do I get past that? I dont wanna start taking things to pieces and realise I'm going about it the wrong way.

It shouldnt be coming of the seat belt as the meter runs of electrical pulses and weve had them in the past when something goes wrong with the meter the pulses cause mayhem with the car especialy if its a digatax meter. Anyway if you remove the fuse panel in the glove box to the right theres a thick blue and white wire we use to get a live feed and to the left theres a 13mm bolt that we use as a negative feed. If your meter was installed by a digi rep id be asking him a few questions about the live feed hes using

Ok thank you, I bought the taxi with the meter already installed, so I have no idea how he wired it.
