Hello again all.

I have just replaced the lower ball joint, wheel bearing and drop link on the O/S front of my C5. All was fine disassembling and re-assembling.

However, when I started the car the display told me that there was an 'ABS Fault'.

Has anybody else had this problem? I have looked at the sensor at the back of the hub and from what I can see, all seems fine.

Is there a re-setting procedure or could the sensor have become damaged by removal. The sensor seemed to come out and go back on ok.

Comments/answers would be welcome

Thanks in anticipation

recheck the conection incase a wire has broke alsocheck the bearing again as weve had ones in the past that actually fit but dont alow the cv joint to sit right in and stops the abs sensor from getting a signal. measure how much cv joint is coming thru the hub on the other side and compare to the new bearing side. Its normally with the discount store bearings that we comme across this problem

Thank you. I will have a check in the next day or so.

If it is a problem with the bearing, is there a fix or something? or does it mean another new bearing?
