Guest tarzan1 Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 iam having trouble getting my locking wheel nuts off, out of the 4 i can only shift 1they just slip, theres 4 little pins on the end of the key but the bolts seem to be a bit worn, i bought some locking nut removers off the net but iam having no joy. i need to change the tyres asap. has any 1 had this problem with the c5. many thanks. Johndouglas Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Take your car to a tyre depot. They'll destroy the bolt but at least they'll get it undone. Maybe as well to have four normal bolts with you. Quote

They are useless. id buy an aftermarket set.yep you got it, Citroen nuts, ive just been on ebay to have a look for some new ones but iam having trouble finding the right thread length.even if i could find some that arent locking for now.Any one know of any where?there arent any scrap yards around me. Citroen standard bolts are fine, it's the lockers that are worse than useless. I wouldn't bother with locking bolts, personally. More trouble than they are worth. Quote
