sistermusic Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Looking forward to delivery of our new Berlingo 1.6 Hdi next month! (Upgrading from a picasso!) From all i've seen and read it seems to be a very tall vehicle, taller than say a ford galaxy and such like large people carriers.Has anyone found this to be a problem, say when going into low multistorey car parks? from memory i think the brochure gives the height as 1810mm. Only a range rover seems taller! Quote
Bertieslingo Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 No problem in multistoreys or underground carparks unless the long arial pinging off every heating duct and pipe gets you irritated. We only have one of these in town so I avoid it and park elsewhere, but certainly the vehicle isn't that tall to worry about paintwork. Quote
DesdinovaUK2 Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 This is odd - didn't we have quite a long thread on this topic - where have all the posts gone? Quote
sistermusic Posted March 26, 2006 Author Posted March 26, 2006 Not sure where all those replies wentBut, as of yesterday got the car (1.6 Desire Silver)Very happy so far. Got some not bad fitted mats (new) off Ebay for it for £20.00. Love the colour, love the car. feels nothing like a van to drive, (only if compared to a Ferrari I suppose.) Already been in a multi storey and still have a roof. Thanks for all the feed back on that subject. What's the white (metal?) bar that's recessed into the roof over the back seats? lovely, fun, good value motoring ahead. Quote
DickieG Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 What's the white (metal?) bar that's recessed into the roof over the back seats? It acts as the hinge for the drop down compartment that is accessed from the boot. Quote
northman Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 This is odd - didn't we have quite a long thread on this topic - where have all the posts gone?We still have the long thread. Scroll down to find it. Because of the peculiarities of this site, many people end up making duplicate postings. Perhaps someone could sort out this problem, combine the two threads, delete duplicate threads which have no replies, etc? Quote
