I keep getting, what can only be described as a kinda clunking when i turn left corners and accelerate. If i take my foot off the accelerator its not so bad, but if i do press the accelerator and turn left i hear a "clunck clunck clunck clunck clunck" (obviously the faster i take the corner the faster the cluncks are)

I was told the diff was on its way out and was advised to replace the gearbox (as the diff is in the gearbox), which i duly did with a recon which is still within its 6month warrenty with autobreakers.co.uk in Preston BUT the cluncking still happens??

Can anyone advise as to what this could be??

It sound very much as if a driveshaft has worn out.

The way to test it is to drive slowly in a straight line then apply steering to full lock. If as you steer the noise starts/gets worse then its almost certainly the driveshaft.
