classixuk Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Hi all, got my Berlingo back from the dealers on Saturday and on the display screen it now reads "eco-mode" when I put the key into the ignition. What on earth is this and what is it for? (I don't have a manual) Thanks Quote
DickieG Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Eco mode is basically when the electrical system goes into battery saving mode, so when for instance you leave an inetrior light or the radio on, the car battery doesn't get flattened. When eco mode is activated only the exterior lights and engine starting can be done electrically, you will need to start the engine (all be it just for a second or two) to use other electrical facilities.
