yorkermiles Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 I am trying to change the small side light in the headlamp of a Xsara, never in my life did I expect to have such difficulty getting to it.................certainly made me think about the how many people to change a light bulb jokes?Anyway can anyone please tell me the quickest and easiest way to remove a headlamp so I can get full access to the back of it.Any advice would be gratefully appreciated?Thank you in advance. Johndouglas Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 I find that it's just about possible to change headlight bulbs on a Xsara, but sidelight - No! I've always got to take the bumper off first. When that's off there's a cross member bolted on with four bolts. That needs to come off as well because one of the bottom headlight bolts is hiding behind it. Change both bulbs while it's off since the other one will go next week  Quote
