2006 1400cc Fault Codes Doing My Brain In Help!

hello lets jump straight in HELP!!!!!!!! god i hate c3's with a vengance after this week.

p1694:-DAMP (controlled engine starting and stopping)

p1161:-manafacture specific code

p1157:-manafacture specific code

 

i can drive around stop and start no trouble then all of a sudden park up come back to a car that turns over and dont start, however if i push start it,it, will start, also if i clear the above codes it will 9 times out of 10 start.i get no warning lights and i have reset the bsi, im hating c3's.

 

any help appreciated

Petrol or diesel, manual automatic, sensodrive.....stop start?

1.4petrol manual, soz its getting on my bits and peices now goin to end up sending it into a citroen stealership soon and thats goin to break my heart,and possibly the bank.

check the connections at the electronic throttle butterfly, if thats ok check the connection at the fuel injection ecu, your looking for corrosion or signs of water ingress.....if there is water ingress you need to check the coolant temperature sensor connection for signs of water ingress.

Incidently, do you have your own code reader or have you paid to get those?

Yea got my own reader, solus pro. Water ingerss from coolant sensor to ecu sorted. Cleaned plug cleaned pins and used terminal compoud Still got fault though suspecting ecu at the mo or pins in plug are fuba
