Afternoon all

so i'm to be a new dad in the new year, i'm currently driving a late (Nov 03) Mk1 C5 Hdi VTR...i was concerned as to whether i had isofix fixing points in the car but have successfully located them.

i was wondering if anyone could advise the best "systems" to invest in and whether i'll need an adapter or not?

the plethora of gear available is staggering!

Cheers

Afternoon,

congrats on going to be a Dad

We brought a britax system that had a ISO fix base onto which the car seat clipped onto, much better that having to worry about getting the seat belt around it, we now have a britax 9 month - 4 year ISO fix seat which again was easy to fit

if you have a mother care near to you will fit the seat for you for afree and they also match internet prices

Just a quick reply as i've been away from the forum for a bit...a baby boy btw 4mths and counting!

Ended up with a Maxi Cosi Family base, works great and far less hassle than a seat belt.

Cheers
