Well a lot of it was to do with the NaviDrive which was really buggy......but before if you were going through the menus and you changed an option and clicked ok, it would come right out of the menu sometimes - so if you were having a play and wanted to change more than one option you had to go back in again. It unlocked the facility to use your iPod/MP3 player with the head unit using the aux port in the glove compartment, allowed MP3 cds to be used, apparently starting the car in the cold is supposed to be more efficient but I never had a chance to see that one, lots of language corrections (where before it used to be a mashed frenchey style english), the radio regional feature now works - the list was quite long now I seem to remember!

I just contacted my local dealer about activating the auxiliary port for an MP3 player and they said they know nothing about it.

Can you clarify, is this just for cars with Navidrive do you know, or for all models???

No navidrive in mine but the otherscreen everything seems fine on it the english is english etc.

Dont think most of the things make a difference to me when i went with the aftermarket approach for most things satnav / stereo etc.

Hi Mike,

Easiest way to tell is to open your glovebox - have you got 2 phono ports & a composite port in there??

@ Wozza...I've done some research today. It seems, apparently, that the C4s with NaviDrive have a different ECU, and different software, so it seems the case that you probably had a more reliable release with your car!! I mean sometimes my car would speak in French to me.....e.g. when I told it to make a call to someone, it would say something which sounded a bit like do you want a baguette?!? Not sure....but the update fixed that one as well.

To my knowledge unless you have sat nav on the vehicle the cable will plug in the back of the radio.

The socket it uses is the one for a multiplay CD unit which isnt activated as standard.

Your local dealer will have to 'enable this function' using their diagnostic equipment.

I know peugeot were marketting an adapter, but citroen as yet have still to provide one.

As blaupunkt are the radio manufacturer, might be worth looking at this

Ipod lead

Good luck
