laprat Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Hi I drive a 2003 Xsara Picasso 2.0 HDi. The engine started overheating and I assumed that the thermostat was faulty because the top hose were cooler than the bottom hose and i replaced it. But it is still overheating. I then flushed the radiator as well as the engine but the problem still persists. There is no leaks. Any advice? Quote
Johndouglas Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Are you sure there are no air locks in the system. Quote
laprat Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 Im fairly sure there is no air locks, as there is no air coming out of the bleeding valve when i filled the cooling system up, only liquid Quote
Johndouglas Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Are you having to put any additional water in the tank? Quote
