slashden Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Hi All I have just bought a C5 2.2HDi Exclusive auto estate 2002. Its a great car but there is a problem with the display screen. After approx 1 hour of driving the screen goes funny. Everything on the screen slides sideways really fast. For the older members here, if you remember TVs with a 'vertical hold' adjustment, it is the same as that, but horizontal instead. If I stop the car, turn off ignition then turn back on it is fine again for a good hour On the parking sensors, is there a way to turn them off as mine are not working, and I don't want to waste time at the garage and look a plonker if they can be turned on (the car didn't come with a manual so still trying to figure out what all the buttons do) Any help would be much appreciated. Johndouglas Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 My C5 is a 2005 - so likely to be different. There's a switch to turn off the parking sensors. On mine it's third from the left and is marked with a P Quote
slashden Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 Hi John I think you are correct, the 2005 model must be different. I don't remember seeing a button with a P on it. Thanks anyway for the reply. I have managed to find someone on ebay selling an owners manual so hopefully that will be here in a couple of days. Now trying to find update for Sat nav without needing another mortgage Cheers Quote
Robert Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Hi the switch is at the lower end of the dashboard, to the left. Quote
