Lights Won't Turn Off

First of all hi to all. I have a problem with my c3 lights the main beam is stuck on. To cut a long story short I went to flash someone on the way home and a click came from the stick as I pulled it. Now my main beam stays on all the time even when key is removed pulled the fuses so it wouldn't drain battery but it still dose as the backlight on the dash stays on and I beleve the ecu won't go to sleep until the car goes in to Eco mode. After some research I found it to be the com2002 unit ordered a second hand one from a dealer on the net requesting the exact part no that I got from my one (as I beleve the part numbers have to mach for it to function properly) but guess what they sent me a completely different one and i can't get them to take it back. My question is would it be poss to repair my comm unit with the one I got sent or is it poss that this unit will work although it has the rear wash wiper function missing. I can live without that if it will work everything else. Thanks for reading.

just put it on weve mixed comm units on loads of cits and never had a problem

Ok thanks fot the info. Is it poss just to unplug the bottom cables and test it without removing airbag ect?.

never tried that b4 but if the plugs will reach then it shouldnt be a problem trying it that way
