Dpf Removal 2.0 Hdi 138

I am wanting to remove the dpf from my 2005 hdi 138, I know I need a galletto cable etc but do i need software etc if so were do I get it from?

it turns out that my ecu is a Sim 803 which can't be read with a galletto cable, only by BDM ie on the workbench - just typical !
