Guest Ollyandpatch Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I have just purchased a C5 (2002) The car is mint and has a genuine 30k miles on the clock. The only blemish on the whole of the car is the silver on the gear knob which has started to peel off. To keep the car in it's lovely condition i'm going to replace it, something after 30 years of driving i have not had to do !! :)Is it simple? does it just screw off? Advice please, and thanks in advance. Quote
coastline taxis Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Push on pull off. really tight to get of though. We sit in the middle with one leg drivers side and the other pass side and just pull like hell Quote
Dircon Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I had this problem on mine. I Rotated the Knob 90% and then pulled it off. To fit the replacement, I reversed the procedure. Paul Quote
