Mike5483 Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Reading on other car forums, it seems that there are generally a lot of features that can be switched on/off via dealer software. I was just wondering if there was anything like this for the C4??? Quote
hertsnminds Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 I would imagine most of them need extra hardware rather just being software enabled e.g. parking sensors, bluetooth module, lane departure warning system, folding wing mirrors. Most of the other things can be set by going into the menus. Rear wiper when in reverse, follow me home light time, metric or imperial displays etc etc. IanBlack 55 VTR+ Quote
dave&trace Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 if you have a car with tyre pressure sensors the dealer can enable through there computer water and oil pressure and visual tyre pressure instead of a blank screen unless there is a problem with the tyre. Quote
Mike5483 Posted June 14, 2006 Author Posted June 14, 2006 You have to have tyre pressure sensors to have water and oil pressure enabled??? Where is this shown on the display??? Quote

kfk Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 nah, but if you've got the faintest idea how yours is configured you could have fun deleteing the stuff you dont thinks relevant......tell ya what though, i doubt your car would work very well after :o Quote
Stuey Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 that is scary look into a tech's mind...now you see what they do when they have nothing to do ;) Quote
