Z3M Roadster Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 Stuey, Try www.pistonheads.com classifieds section or otherwise ebay, there are normally a couple of track Caterhams and Westfields for sale and trailers. You'd be better off getting one for use on the road too as there isn't a great deal of difference. Quote
Stuey Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 if I did get a road legal one it wouldnt get used, I dont want to pay for insurance and road tax for a car that is sat in the garage for 7-8 months a year when the weather is crap... I am going for a racing scholarship for the Clio Cup for next year so I think I will have my fill of tracks if I manage to blag that...if that fails then performance driving inscructor is next on the list. I have been asked to attend a weekend with the company I did my course with a couple of weeks ago and see if I like it and if I am up to teaching people how to track drive....fingers crossed on that front too!! Z3M Roadster Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 There are plenty of days during the Autumn and Winter to drive a Seven, I used mine on some seriously cold days but mine did have the benefit of a heater. As for insurance I was 23 when I bought it and it cost me £400pa fully comp for 5k miles with an agreed value. Quote
Johndouglas Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 I was just wondering if anyone knows how successful the c4 has done in the UK Since its launch? i never seem to see many on the roads. When I was in Spain a few years ago I couldn't help but notice how few Xantias there seemed to be on the roads compared with the numbers in UK. On the other hand, Xsaras which were then not popular in UK, were to be seen on Spanish roads in their thousands. I never did unstand why. Quote
