New & Old Xsara?

Hi all,

Apart from the obvious facelift, what's the difference between the older Xsara 1.4 & the facelift model? Any engine mods? Interior? Thinking about renewing you see.

electrics are different, there multiplexed like all later citroens, yes the engine will be different, not to gain more power but to achieve emmisions regulation.

With regards to the engine being different, do you mean tuned differently to meet emission regs? Not complete different engine.

not completely different but may have different size valves and different cam timing or valve lift duration
