Hi there, any help would be appreciated with this issue i have with my 1994 Xantia.

Recently i found that at random the drivers side inside headlight (NOT THE MAIN LIGHT) is coming on faintly when i press the brake pedal!

Furthermore, when i have the lights on, the right side brake light is lit instead of the normal light and gets brighter when the brake is pressed.

the left brake light is not lighting full stop despite bulb being fine.

Any suggestions? is it a relay thing? fuses? or is it a poltergeist?

Cheers

Mike

check your brake light bulbs.......one of the filamaents is hanging down and resting on the side light bulb filamament causing a short circuit......alternatively someone has wedged a single filament bulb into a twin filament holder.
